Yes, but within reason. After we have finished installing your site, you will get a chance to look over everything and list any changes you want to make before it goes live. At this point we cannot make any changes to the layout or imagery because you approved these at the mock up stage. However we have no problem making smaller changes: link and text colors, fonts, alignment, content, etc. We prefer if you look over the site fully and make one big list of changes and send that to us in one email rather than sending us 20 emails with one or two small things. Once you have given final approval and the site goes live, all responsibility transfers to you. If there are any major or minor changes you want to make after final approval you will have to contact us. |

The more complex your site is, the longer it will take to build. However with most sites, the entire process from design to development is typically within the tree to five weeks range. This isn’t counting any wait time, though. Our designer could be booked up a month or longer before he/she can start on your project. In that case our designer will inform you of the approximate wait time and when she/he will be able to start. Additionally you should gather your needs and information ASAP when our designer explain it for you. |

Please refer to the following as ballpark prices. Every client’s site is different so your project could be more or less than these figures. Please be aware that we usually charge by the hour, so the simpler your project, the less it will cost. Personal website: $500-1000 Small Business: $1000-3000 Professional: $3000-5000 |

Yes. Our rates are based on a sliding scale that factors in your budget and the estimated amount of time it will take to complete your project. The more difficult or complicated the project, the longer it will take us complete. We are professional enough, so we know how long it takes to complete every aspect of your site design and development. Even if you don’t have a giant budget, we can work with you to create a site that looks great and satisfies all your needs. Unlike many designers out there, we haven’t raised our prices outlandishly just because we’re popular. Our rates are more than competitive and extremely affordable. We understand that most people don’t have the disposable income to spend thousands of dollars on a design and honestly we think of the idea of spending that much for a personal design is laughable, no matter whom the designer is. As a client of Armandis you will get quality work at realistic prices. |

No. WordPress.com is a hosted service that doesn’t allow you to have completely custom templates or other add-ons like plugins. However, WordPress.com is powered by the WordPress CMS which is free and can be installed on a self-hosted domain. We can import your entries/comments from your WordPress.com blog into a new self-hosted WordPress blog for you. Here’s a great run-down of the differences between WP.com and WP.org. |

CMS stands for content management system. We typically recommend using a CMS like WordPress or Joomla for your website. What this means is that your entire website will be controlled from one interface. From this one admin panel you add and edit pages, easily add links and images, and customize your design, all without having any technical experience of your own. Without a CMS if you wanted to edit just one word on a page this required an HTML editor, a FTP client and a basic understanding of HTML so you could wade through all the code to find the word you want to change. Most people don’t know how to do any of that and would be dependent on their designer to change it for them. A lot of changes like that can add up to paying a lot of extra money. A CMS gives you full control of your website to save your time and your money. |

You need a place on the web store your site files and other things like images and email. A host gives you a certain amount of space to upload these things and to build your site on so that it may be viewed by the public. Our hosting packages start at $50 a year. Please see Hosting Page for more information on packages and pricing. |

WHOIS can be a confusing tool to use when debugging expired domains as it requires some knowledge of how the global registration system ties together. In general, when most types of domains (like COM, NET and ORG) expire the domain is temporarily renewed. This is temporary. This temporary renewal will be removed if the domain is not renewed or transferred, which will result in the domain going into a status known as the "REDEMPTIONPERIOD" or "Pending Delete- Restorable". It may also be deleted outright, depending on the type of domain. With some types of domains, you can confirm that the domain is expired by taking note of the expiration month and day. If you have passed this date, and the domain is offline, it has expired. Please note that it may take 24 hours for some types of domains to come online once they have been renewed, and WHOIS will unfortunately not indicate if it was renewed. Website is cheapest salesman that you can ever find!! What are you waiting for? Register a domain right now |

Usually you cannot transfer an expired domain from another Registrar, as the currently Registrar will not support this. However, you should check with the current Registrar to verify that you can or cannot transfer the domain. Expired domains will be held at the registry for a grace period defined by the registry. For .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .us, .name, and .cc the grace period is 40 days, for .ca it is 30 days, for .tv it is 55 days, for .cn it 10 days, for .uk domains are held until the 25th day of the month after they expire. There are no grace periods for .de domains. They are deleted on the day after the expiration date. During the grace period all associated services will cease working until the name is renewed (if and when this happens). As well, name server/DNS changes will not be possible. If a renewal is not made by the end of the grace period the domains will sent to the registry for deletion and returned to the available pool. Deletion at the registry level can take 1 to 10 days. Please note, .com, .net and .org registrations will enter into a "Redemption Period" state. .info registrations enter into a "Pending Delete Restorable" state. These domains will be held by the appropriate Registry for an additional 30 days. During the Redemption Period or Pending Delete Restorable state it is still possible to recover the domain name and have it renewed. Click here to Transfer and Renew your website now |

A domain with status: REDEMPTIONPERIOD (or PENDING DELETE RESTORABLE for .info domains) has expired and was not properly renewed for at least 40 days. Domains which are not renewed are deleted, after which point the Registry will hold the domain in the REDEMPTIONPERIOD/ PENDING DELETE RESTORABLE for 30 days. Attempts would have been made to contact the Email addresses on the domain's registration record about the domain's expiration before it was actually expired. Having current, valid contact information is a requirement for all who register a domain name, as highlighted in the agreements when the domain was first registered. Renewal reminders and other important information are sent to these contacts, and having an invalid email address or aggressive SPAM filters in place will prevent delivery of these messages. The Registry-imposed REDEMPTIONPERIOD/ PENDING DELETE RESTORABLE lasts for 30 days, and it is still possible to recover a domain in this state. The domain can only be redeemed by the original owner of the domain listed on the WHOIS prior to the deletion. If you are not the original listed owner of the domain, speak with your favorite Registration Company about how to determine when a REDEMPTIONPERIOD/ PENDING DELETE RESTORABLE domain will be available for registration again. Redeeming a domain is more time consuming and complicated than if the domain was "renewed" normally during the first 40 days of expiration. Click here to Transfer and Renew your website now |

All you need is a valid credit card and approval from the administrative and/or billing contacts for the domain name (on file with the current registrar). Use our automatic transfer to submit your transfer request online. Once your transfer request has been received, a confirmation eMail is sent to the administrative contacts to confirm the request to transfer the registrar to us. If you do not have access to either the administrative or billing eMail addresses, please contact your current registrar for information on changing your eMail address before initiating a registrar transfer request. Please note, if only one of the contacts confirms the transfer request, it will still be processed. However, a five-day waiting period is given so the remaining contact can reply. This signals our system to send the transfer request to the registry immediately. The request will not be processed if either the administrative or billing contacts denies the transfer. A domain name registrar is the organization or company responsible for providing domain name registration services to the Internet community. An official domain name registrar is either authorized by ICANN (the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, an organization dedicated to Internet governance) to provide registration services for the .com, .net and .org global top-level domain names, or is authorized by its respective government to register domain names within a specific ccTLD (country code Top Level Domain name extension). CIRA provides this function in Canada. A registrar must also be authorized by the registry of a Top Level Domain to act as an agent of the registry to process domain name registrations, where the agent is not a reseller. The registrar is also responsible for creating and maintaining a WHOIS database for its customers. |

A registrar transfer is the act of moving a domain name from one domain name registrar to another. For example, you might move your domain name from your current registrar to our company to take advantage of wholesale domain registration and renewal fees, our technical support or domain services. A registrar transfer service is implemented by registries and made available to all domain registrars to promote competition and improved services to the broader Internet community. Please note that transferring your domain to our company will not affect the DNS information, contact eMail, or registrant name associated with your domain name. You may modify these areas after your domain name has been successfully transferred. Transfer and Renew your website now |

Domain name registration is simply a name reservation service, and you are not required to do anything with your domain name. You may wish to simply reserve it, forward eMail through it, or construct a web site. It is completely up to you. If you do choose to develop a web site, we can provide top quality web design services at reasonable fee. |

Unlike some Registrars, when you register your domain name with us, the Registrant that you listed on the order form is considered the legal holder of the domain name for the duration of the current registration term. We have no interest in owning your domain name(s). If we wanted them, we would have registered them already! |

Unfortunately, once a domain name is registered, it can not be altered, including spelling corrections. An alternative is to register the correctly spelled domain name and forward the incorrect one to your correct one. This will allow your customers can still find you even if they make the same mistake. Find variations of your website name and register many domains in few simple steps |

As soon as you change the information, we send the request to the WHOIS database instantly, however, it may take some time to reflect in WHOIS database. For .COM domains, it may take about 6 hours and it varies for other TLDs. |

If you cancel it with in one hour of registration, we will be able to cancel and refund partial domain registration fee after deducting cancellation charges and credit card processing charges if any (We do it only in special cases like copyright problem or somethings). If you want to cancel the registered domain name after one hour of registration, it can not be canceled since registries do not allow cancellations with a refund. If you no longer want your domain name, we suggest that you attempt to sell your domain name through a domain name broker or give your domain name to an interested party or leave it without renewing it. |

Once you let us know the domain name to transfer and pay the transfer fee, we will initiate the transfer process, which will send an email to the current admin contact as listed in the WHOIS. You need to approve the transfer. In the next 24-48 hours, you may receive another email from your current registrar asking you to approve the transfer. Some registrars just notify you about the transfer and do not need your approval. It may take about a week for the actual transfer to take place. When you transfer a domain, it is automatically renewed by 1 year. Note that, you will not be able to transfer a domain up to 60 days from the date of registration. Similarly, if you transfer the domain within 45 days after renewing it, your current renewal is cancelled and you will get only 1 year of renewal that you normally get from the us. If you transfer after 45 days of the renewal, you will retain that renewal that you have done and you get 1 year renewal from us as usual. Transfer and Renew your website now |

Information about the registrant and people who is responsible to manage, billing and administration is publicly available to allow rapid resolution of technical problems and to permit enforcement of consumer protection, trademark and other laws. This information is available to the public through the WHOIS service. But if you register your domain name with us in Directi you have a free protection option. A MySQL database is what many applications powered by PHP use to store important information. In the case of a Wordpress blog or Joomla website, all your posts, comments and options are saved in your database, therefore it is of the utmost importance to backup this database. If you were to restore your blog without this database you would essentially be starting from scratch. (The only thing of importance not stored in the WP database are your themes.) |

Backing up your site is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO. While none of our clients have EVER lost any of their data due to server malfunction (knock on wood) bad things happen everyday, so it’s best to be prepared for the worst. We recommend that you backup your site and databases at least once a month and keep a copy in a safe place on your hard drive or on a CD. If something were to happen to your site, all your files can be restored with your backup. |

If you are starting a new blog or website the A1G or B5G packages will be more than enough to get you started. If you upload a lot of images to your site, the B5G package is going to be a better choice, as pictures can take up quite a bit of space. Once you more established and start getting more traffic you can always upgrade your package if you need to. |
